Biography
Haichao Zhu (朱海潮) works on Natural Language Processing, with research interests in machine reading comprehension, question answering, question generation, pre-trained language models, knowledge distillation, and text summarization. His research at Harbin Institute of Technology was under the direction of Prof. Bing Qin. He was a research intern in the Natural Language Computing Group at Microsoft Research Asia, working with Dr. Furu Wei and Dr. Li Dong on machine reading comprehension and text summarization with data augmentation. Previously, he was a research intern in the Relevance and News Group at Microsoft Software Technology Center Asia, working with Dr. Furu Wei and Yongliang (Ryan) Ma on multiple-choice machine reading comprehension.
Haichao published research papers in NLP/AI conferences including ACL, EMNLP, and AAAI, and served as a reviewer for ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, COLING, AAAI, and IJCAI.
